7 Day Fun Photo Challenge image

This challenge was created for families at home during the Covid-19 crisis - but you can participate anytime!

Grownups are welcome to join in as well.
It's not a competition, just a bit of fun - so get creative and HAVE FUN!!!

Girl dressed as Hermione from Harry Potter

This challenge is to re-create a favourite scene or character from a film or TV show - you can dress up, do make-up and use props.

TIP: Remember to use your camera both in landscape and portrait and shoot from above and below, not just straight on. Use images from the show/film and try to match the angles.

Plate of food made into a face

Make the best face out of your breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Photograph it from directly above! It can be a single meal or a groups of plates.

The only rule is that your meal MUST be on your plate…not on your head…

TIP: Crop it in a square!

Image of a sleeping Ginger Cat

Get the cutest photo of your pet while they are asleep - you’ll have to be very observant and quiet.

If you don’t have a pet get your favourite toy and arrange it under the covers all snuggled up!

TIP: Remember to use your camera both in landscape and portrait and shoot from above and below, not just straight on.

Image of the top of a watering can that looks like it is smiling

Find faces in everyday things around your home and garden. The face must exist – do not draw on the toilet roll!

TIP: Fill the frame with the face – especially if it is small. Move closer and watch your focus!

Photo of a mug from above creating the shape of the letter "Q"

Find the first letter of your name in everyday things around your home and garden.
For those of you whose names begin with “S” – this is going to be easy...“G” not so much…

If you want an ongoing project – look for the whole alphabet!

TIP: Upside down can be very helpful! Flip the photo in your edit settings.

Image of some tree trunks at sunset in the snow and the shadows they make

Take a picture of an interesting shadow and make a nice composition using the shape.
You can use lights, the sun, your family and pets, or interesting objects getting stretched out.

TIP: Upside down is okay! Flip the photo in your edit settings.

Photio of a lady making a very silly face

Photograph or take a selfie of your best silly face!

TIP: FILL THE FRAME!
