Ingrid was born on April Fool's Day in 1972 and is privileged to be both a British and Canadian citizen.
She received her BA at First Class Honours in Media Production from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle in 1994 specializing in Black & White cinematography. She was also awarded the joint prize for Best Visuals in a short film (as cinematographer) by Director Mike Figgis, who judged the category. She shared this prize with Erland Erikkson who wrote and Directed "All The Kind People".
She worked in the British Film and Television Industry first as a clapper loader (2nd AC), then on to focus pulling (1st AC) which she still practices part time. Her stills photography has always complimented her work in the camera department, and vice versa. She went professional as a photographer in early 2006, and since then has earned the Associate distinction from the Royal Photographic Society.
She lives in the quiet town of Chertsey and her work is mainly based in the beautiful Surrey County. However, wedding and corporate commitments take her across the country and indeed around the world - including weddings in Canada, Portugal, Barbados and Paris.
On her frequent travels and indeed closer to home she is often observing the world through her lens. These images are available in limited edition prints and canvases.
